Rabbi Greg Epstein

Rabbi Greg M. Epstein serves as the Humanist Chaplain of Harvard University, the premier professional humanist position in the United States outside of national organizations. In 2005 he received ordination as a Humanist Rabbi from the International Institute for Secular Humanistic Judaism after studying in Jerusalem and Michigan for five years. He holds a BA (Religion and Chinese) and an MA (Judaic Studies) from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Theological Studies from the Harvard Divinity School.

Rabbi Greg Epstein is a regular contributor to "On Faith," an online forum on religion produced by Newsweek magazine, the Washington Post, and Tikkun. His work as a Humanist rabbi and Chaplain has been featured by National Public Radio, BBC Radio, and many more. His first book, Good Without God was published in fall, 2009. He is in demand as a speaker at universities, conferences, religious institutions, and humanist and ethical focused organizations all over the United States.
